Driving home from swim lessons today:
Aubrey: Where does the Easter Bunny live?
Mommy: In a magical forest.
A: But what can he eat?
M: in the magical forest in his hollowed out tree, well right next door is a special farm that makes carrotts that give that easter bunny energy to make all the eggs
A: That doesn't sound right, are you sure he is real?
M: Of course he is (thinking WTF)...
A: Well then there must be a Halloween Bunny, what does that one bring, again?
HOW DOES THAT CHILD TRAP ME, EVERY. SINGLE. TIME!!?!
M: Well honey, I have never heard of a Halloween Bunny, I don't think there is one.
A: Most importantly Mommy, that forest is too big for just one bunny.

I believe our Easter bunny lived in a special "holiday compound" with other persons of illustrious repute - the tooth fairy, the elves (off season, to escape the snow), etc.
It was for their protection you see. Rude boys and girls otherwise would hound them for more treats.
It's rough being a childhood agent of joy.
We must protect them.
how is it that they go from being so simple to so complicated in the blink of an eye?
:)
I would have liked to see the look on your face when she started in with the halloween bunny...
Sounds like it's time to roll out the Charlie Brown Halloween show...that should lead to some more entertaining conversations!!
Love it! Kids are way smarter than us. We are just pretending to know things, most of the time.
She is too much! :)
That is just way too cute!! Smart little girl you've got there!!
That is so sweet!
LMAO! You and Doug just have better gene's than you thought! Watch out for Molly when she starts asking things - you NEVER know how she will corner you too!!! hahahah
