Mirror Mirror

I am doing a couple small things in Aubrey's room (like framing some of her art work). Santa brought a magnetic calendar that we hung up, and while I was at IKEA (for inexpensive white frames) I picked a mirror and then headed to Michaels for some "jewels".
With the girls this morning (hubby is at work), we started our masterpiece! And it was finished by 10am.
Up: Before
Down: Just getting started! Aubrey's area.

Finished! Once it is all dry we will clean it off and hang it!

Wow, it's really cute! I didn't get my mirror at IKEA but I'm stealing the idea for the mirror in my daughter's room from something they have in their kid's section... now if only I could just get the project started.

oh me too me too! Totally stealing this! Did you just use Elmer's -type glue?

I used Tacky Glue (Brown Bottle), but I am sure Elmer's would work fine. I did about 6 inches of glue at a time, had the girls put down the "bigger" jeweles, and went behind them filling in with the tiny jewles.

What a great idea and a fun project to do with the girls.
