Back to the Beginning

I created this blog 3 years ago to record a 6 week trip to Maine that we were taking - and share pictures and stories of that amazing time. I actually used this blog to make a book of that trip, which turned out great.

Well, the girls and I are headed to Maine for a month starting next Saturday! Doug will be down the last 10 days or so with us and the first 3 days (helping us drive up and then flying back).

My plan is to once again record that trip and our adventures.

We just got back from 9 days in Bethany Beach - an amazing time with lots of family, food, alcohol... and beach time! My parents, sister and her hubby and Doug and I had dinner one night at Bluecoast, it was our second time there with that group - and as usual the food was great. The stand out though was the Dreamcicle Martini. I emailed the restaurant and they gave me the recipe! I can't wait to try it out. Here it is:
