School's Out

School is no longer in session which means that the TRAFFIC IS GONE! My ride (30 miles) was 28 minutes this morning (most days it is usually about an hour). Unbelievable. It begins a long day of work but a lovely day outside, 80, low humidity, cloudless blue sky. Add to that some good songs on the radio, an ice cold diet coke in the office with a view of the city and it is looking to be a nice day.

Yesterday I was able to work from home and get some small jobs done around the house while being uber productive writing for work. Again, add that to everything else and I just feel good.

Oh, and did I mention we go to the beach for a week in less than 2 weeks.

Yup, feeling pretty good :)

Hey, we're going to the beach for a week in less than two weeks too! What a coincidence. Maybe we'll see you there?

I love working from home...but it might be because I don't like my job ;-) Glad you are enjoying a beautiful day!!

Braggart!! 80 and low humidity!?? If it weren't so stinking hot (90+) and equal % of humidity, we'd have a posse with flaming torches hunt you down for your "coolness"! At least we can get the diet Coke.

Mike always comments on how nice it is when school is out and he can just whip through the TNTC school zones (too numerous to count). We live close to an elementary school and it's nice, trying to exit our subdivision, to not have the huddles of minivans in our entrance where all the mommies think they are by-passing the pick-up line and in reality making the residents harbor thoughts of tire slashing and "accidental" keyings.

Oh dear, the heat must be getting to me...

keep counting down the days...the beach sounds great...I just put up with our fake Lake Michigan beach. I can't wait for a "real" beach.
