Pre-School Process Proves Painful

We have enrolled Aubrey in pre-school, starting in mid-August. This is not as easy as one would have hoped. After months of calls, waiting lists, follow-ups, harrasing various family and friends about their opinions I made a call today and BAM, we visited this afternoon, put down a deposit and are good to go. sigh of relief

Aubrey will go on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. I was concerned about having to pack her lunch each day - and then they told us about how they offer pizza on Mondays and Fridays so I only need to worry about lunch on Thursdays :) Also, they have a class that is Sept birthday types so Aubrey will be in with her age range rather than only based on the state cut offs... a big relief.

What type of pre school did you wind up choosing?
Montesorri? Sydney started off with three 1/2 days at Montesorri and then went for a total of 5 days the following semester.

Why does pre-school have to be painful (whine)...I am having flashbacks to the 4 hours I sat in my car to sign Jack Jack up for my first choice of pre-shcools.

And then comes kindergarten.

Scott: We went with The Goddard School.

INTFL: I almost didn't write this because it didn't compare with the pee issues in your early morning car line :)

Jess: That's not even REMOTELY funny. Not. One. Little. Bit.

Whoo hoo - gotta love it when things just come together the way they should.

Super cool!

We just finished enrolling Claire in a different preschool for next year. I love where she is, but the pro con list pointed to changing her. She'll now be going to the school where she'll likely attend grade school (a catholic school) and its 4 minutes from my office.
