We were BOOGYING!
OK, seriously. My husband likes to "bid" in the Silent Auctions. His gift is picking out the items he thinks NO ONE ELSE will bid on. Three years in a row he has won this way... So I have now am the proud owner of not one but TWO identical Lenox Glass Christmas platters. And when you receive one for Christmas, please know that he didn't even bid the minimum as he says, "it is for a good cause".

wierd...that shirt you have on at the Bull Roast looks familiar?!
I love following the story line with all the pictures! Looks like everyone had a blast! So that is where that interesting tongue trick came from!
And by the way...you look THRILLED to have won the plate! John's theory of silent auctions at these events is like this...he OVERBIDS on the goodstuff - knowing that we won't win and driving the prices up! So far, its worked, but I have a feeling we're going to win (then have to pay for) some serious crap at some point.
I also love the look on your face with the Christmas plate..."seriously, Doug? Another frikkin Christmas platter?"
