News Flash

It IS snowing, all the schools have closed 2 hours early. I picked the kids up 2 hours ago... we have at least an inch on the driveway and deck, more on the grass.

My husband and Ms. Lori-Anne, I believe, think I am quite nuts that I picked the kids up so early... BUT my lovely Mother In Law agrees with me and called to check to make sure we were home safe and knew about the weather (THANK YOU!).

My husband left me with the 4WD on EMPTY... 10 mile range left. Nice.

BUT I received a very nice surprise in the mail today - some yarn, some needles and a CUSTOM pattern WITH detailed instructions. As soon as Thing 2 heads to nap I will be CASTING ON. Why not have 3 projects going on at once... if you can do it so can I :)?

Also, Aunt Stacie sent Aubrey 2 HUGE bags of 4T clothes - summer, winter, fancy, casual. She LOVES it! She is wearing one of the "fancy" dresses in that first picture. Thank you Aunt Stacie! And thank you GRANDY for bringing them by last night.

My husband leaves the car on E all the time....it sucks. But - at least I don't live miles and miles away from civilization!

My kids had a snow day on Monday, and I was happy to have an extra day at home with the kids since I work Saturdays. :)

And, can I just say, that I LOVE the fact that you buy all the stuff to do craft projects and don't do them? Or that you have several craft projects going at one time? That's me all over the place!

Ya big wuss....2 inches of snow?????????? Why don't you cry about it.

Ha ha.

Now that I've walked up and down your driveway with a 24 pound screaming child, I understand why you left early and pledge to not mock you again. :)

Pretty yarn! I bet it would look adorable as a scarf for AG. Then she and Claire, er, Megan would match!

PS I love that Aubrey is wearing a dress....

the roads around towson and timonium were rather bad at 1pm as I was heading home from Lancaster. I slid around like crazy in my 2WD and thought, I wish I had 4WD, till I saw someone in 4WD sliding just as bad as me...

anywho, Olivia, Natalie, Jen and I hit up the hill over at Towson U with the sled. It was a good time!

That yarn reminds me of the piles of it I have in my closet - it seems I just love the IDEA of knitting, not the knitting itself.
Sounds like a fun snow day!
